Things can change so fast...

I just read a bulletin on Myspace, you know, one of the ones that starts with "Guys may be flirting around all day, but before they go to sleep they always think of the girl they truly care about" The minute I read that, I laid back trying to think of who that one girl was that crossed my mind every night I lay tossing and turning in this bare bed. As I was sitting here trying to figure out who really meant that much to me, my mind was blank. For the first time in a long time my head was empty. My life...Empty.
Everything has been changing, at a rather rapid pace I might add. Some for the better...A lot for the worse. But maybe changing for the worst is for the best. Better than better, the best! I've started thinking about politics a lot lately, I guess Government will do that to you... Laying here letting my mind wander, the thought to try out politics actually crossed my mind, scary right? I sat here and thought, hey, John McCain just went into the military, got captured, came home and used it all as a base for running for what, senate? I could do that!
If I don't do that, hell, maybe i'll just be a teacher? Isn't that everyone's fallback plan nowadays anyways? I mean, who wants to make a healthy living anyways? Educators should make as much money as CEO's do. This country is corrupt by the government and quite frankly it needs to be overthrown.
I'm also slipping back into my past, which isn't the best thing to do, but what if I am happier that way? Or at least I have the illusion of being happy. Afterall, almost everything is an illusion. Being an Atheist, what am I thinking? I maintain morals now, at least more than I did in my past. What am I doing? In my opinion, life hits a dead end at death. You go nowhere afterwards except into the ground, and even then it isn't you. It is just the empty carcass that used to have you inside of it. If you're lucky, you live forever. I'd rather be infamous than go unnoticed. That is my biggest fear of all, not dying, rather, dying and slipping away in your own rotting carcass.
Dying away with your carcass is the worst thing you could ever do. The definition of a carcass in one sense is "Remains from which the substanse or character is gone." so if you die with your carcass than is it really a carcass that is being buried? I refuse to be buried as a person. I'll know on my deathbed if i'll be remembered, and only if that happens will I consent to being buried. What will really happen though, since we all know I will slip away with my body, is I will choose to be burned. A pyromaniac surfer really does deserve to be burned and spread on the beach he loves, or she for that matter.
Life is changing so much. Not too long ago I was probably the happiest that I've ever been, but now, I am blogging about my own death. I don't have anything else to say really.
If you've made it this far I am dreadfully sorry.
Goodnight

I'm Out

I really never have anything new to put on here.
It's the same thing every time I write, all I do is
complain about how much I hate working.
Speaking of which, today I was yelled at. Woohoo.
Every day is all the same and I don't feel like rephrasing
all of my previous posts, so I won't be posting unless
something exciting and different actually happens.

What A Day, What A Day!

I slept in late for the first saturday in a few weeks today. It felt somewhat nice actually, despite the normal groggy feeling you get when you sleep too long. I woke up around noon i'd say, and went straight for the couch. After watching some boring television, I decided to hit up the ping-pong table with Evan for a match before he left for Killian's house. Of course I won. He is getting much better though lately, I'm sure he's playing while i'm at work...
Anyways, after he left, and mother and father went to go watch Bruno in some other city, I was left to myself to watch more tv, and lay on the couch with my laptop. Thank god for myspace IM because it helped me make some plans for the day. I had my speaker volume pretty high, I guess I forgot to turn it down after jamming out. All of a sudden I heard the gaudy tone produced only from the myspace IM. It was Tyler wanting to go fishing. Of course I went.
We went to Fox Lake at first, and he caught a fish right away, and then after that, we reeled in only weeds and mud. We finally left and went fishing in the water hazards of Royal Oak Golf Course, which produced an equal result as the previous location.
Meanwhile, I was planning my night, calling folks and such, trying to get a group together to pitch in to pay for the rediculously priced UFC 100. Pretty good fights were on, but what was even better was just hanging out with the guys and just messing around and eating until we felt sick. Watching Brock Lesner give the audience the middle finger was rather satisfying also.
Now I have some growing pains shooting through both of my entire legs, and it is PAINFUL! I thought I was done with this type of garbage! Oh well, I guess I can deal with it, if it means getting taller...That's always cool.
Well anyways, I'll be going to sleep now, since I'll be waking up at 7:00AM to go fishing again, and maybe this time I will actually catch a fish or two....Or hopefully more. Wish me luck, and thanks for reading!

Long day

Well isn't this hilarious. Several hours after I posted the blog yesterday I find out that a "friend" of mine was not on good terms with me. Apparently I am rude. To be honest...Of course I'm rude, tons of people are rude. I wouldnt be suprised if the vast majority of humans had rude tendancies. I wasn't going to argue with him so I just told him I know I am rude, and I accept that. Well that pissed him off quite right, and so there goes that friendship.
But hey thats life isn't it? Things come and go, but life goes on. I've been through enough of those situations to know how to deal with them just fine. I let it all breeze by me, I frankly just don't care. I know some people say that they don't care but in all actuality they really care a lot. That isn't the case, I really just don't care. I have plenty of other friends that are far better than the friends I lose. There's always a reason I lose a friend, and It's always a good one.

So anywho, today was...interesting. I was left alone at work today for about an hour and a half. Of course the minute the boss left, everyone decides they want to do some traveling. I had one itinerary in progress, with a man who had trouble speaking english sitting at my desk, and two people calling at the same time. Madness? Definately. Everything seems to happen at the same time, which is the wrong time. But strangely...It felt good.
Not much really went on today outside of that hour and a half though, except for a call here or there. Oh man I almost forgot I booked a cruise for a nice couple from Scottsmoor, on a boring Carnival Bahamas cruise. The only stop on the itinerary was Nassau, what fun that is. But Amanda (a passenger on the upcoming cruise) said she has family there, -and buried there- so I guess that would be fun...maybe...
Then after driving home in the flash flood downpour, and having my windows get fogged up so much it was impossible to see outside, I got to have some pizza for dinner! But during dinner, I was reminded about the fate that was soon to come...Cleaning night. I can't stand cleaning anything, so when I had to clean the house, you can only imagine how my night must have went.
Finally I got to play a little ping-pong, after a long day. Of course I lost at first to my younger brother who had been playing all day. Finally I got warmed up and hammered out the second match.
Well that pretty much sums up my day. I'm going to run along and check out the season premier of Big Brother, to see if this season is worth watching. Thanks for reading.

Ping-Pong, Ping-Pong, Ping-Pong

Life seems somewhat like ping-pong...To be more specific, life is like the ping-pong ball. No matter what happens, you're going to end up in the hands of somebody thats just going to slap you. I know it may seem kind of depressing but it really is the truth. If you try to be nice to anyone, you're just going to get screwed over. I'm not going to lie, I have done it to people before and to be honest, I'm not too proud of it...
I had that comparison on my mind since what I have been doing a lot lately is played ping-pong. And of course the fact that I'm looking at the table right in front of me...Anyways, I would talk about my day, but that's far from exciting, since all it consisted of was an average day of work and then Ultimate Frisbee in the muddy grass.
I don't know why, but lately I have just been feeling depressed. I don't really have much of a reason for the depression, but I just am depressed all the time. I don't like it. I'm sure nobody likes it. Well I shouldn't say that because I have made a lot of people mad throughout my days. I honestly don't try to piss people off, but sadly it happens very often, very easily.
I guess I don't really have much to say since today just kind of dragged on for me, so I'm not going to let this entry drag on. Thanks for reading...

Birthday!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, I had it all written out in a Word Doc, but never did load it up here. So here it is!

Man oh man, another year older...I really don't feel like I’m 17 years old though. I don’t feel like I can go see a rated R movie that doesn’t end until midnight (legally), and I really don't feel like I should be going into the real world next year...It’s actually rather depressing to say the least. I actually had a comment on my last entry saying that it was depressing, and the sad part is that the last post is basically all I have been doing for my whole summer...But back to my birthday.
I got home last night from work, pulled into the driveway, and opened the garage, to see a large box propped against our lawnmower. Of course I knew exactly what it was, since I had asked for a ping-pong table the day before. But don’t jump to conclusions thinking, “man this kid is smart, he knew exactly what that was” because the first thing I saw on the box was the “Stiga” label on the side. I’m not going to lie, I was stoked. But that was before I found out it needed assembly.
Right as I walked in my door, I realized I was home alone. I was hoping one of the parents or even my brother was home, but nope. Evan had a softball game, and our parents are very supportive, almost too supportive. I let the dogs out, and checked my dying phone to see Sam had texted me offering to work out, which I did, and enjoyed greatly. I stayed at the gym for about an hour and a half, and then came home to start work on the ping-pong table from hell. Starting at 8:00PM and ending finally, and 1:00AM. What a way to start off a birthday, right?
Anyways, I woke up early this morning to get a few games in, before the dreadful drive to work, which seems to get faster and faster every day I make the journey. Work does seem to be passing by faster every day though. It’s becoming bearable with every passing day, every person I speak with that can’t understand English. I actually spoke with a woman in Kenya for about 15 minutes yesterday, just to figure out what classes of service were offered on her airline. That was fun.
Tonight I plan on going to Cocoa Beach with the family, and eating dinner at Grills. Afterward I plan on coaxing them into buying me a new pair of shoes at Ron Jons, my right shoe looks like it could talk in the front. I mean, come on, my boss got me a coupon for Ron Jons for my birthday, so why not use it? The people here at work are pretty cool on days like this. There is an accounting office that consists of a mom and daughter that rents out part of the building. One of the girls actually sits right behind my desk, and today they brought pizza to work, and baked a cake for me and everything! It was pretty nice of them, and helped pass some of the time here. Now all I need is to convince the boss to turn on the A/C.
Thanks for Reading.

Work (First Post)

Ahhh, Just another day at work, the same as every other weekday. Sometimes I wonder how my employer can afford me working 32 hours a week, when the majority of the days are drier than the desert.
I work at a travel agency that consists of my boss, her mother, and myself. Thank god for family friends right? It’s minimum wage, but I get quite a few hours, and with how slow the place seems to be every single day, I don’t know how I get a paycheck every week… It’s a fairly simple job, especially since I’m sitting at my desk blogging right now. I hear from everyone how much they wish they had my job, but I don’t know what it is, that makes me hate it so much.
I guess I just feel like I should be going on endless summer adventures, instead of planning adventures for other people in this less than pleasant office. I guess its nice to star out the window and daydream, or stare blankly into the sky outside and pretend the palm trees in my peripheral vision are more than just a wall mural. And on the days where I play Frisbee, I can’t stop thinking of how much I want to leave early, and during the lonely hour between five and six, where I can only imagine what is going on at the local baseball fields.
The only thing I can really say is, “Hey, at least its money!” I just wish I had a job that I could enjoy doing, while actually maintaining a social life… That’s the one problem with work…I can’t stay out too late anymore since I have to actually wake up the next morning. I remember last summer…well…some parts of it at least, back in my…less than perfect days…I’d hang out with friends everyday for hours at a time. Not anymore. Just work, and Tennis, and Frisbee, and the Gym…FUN FUN!
I’m only 17 (as of tomorrow) and I’m almost working a full time job! The parents say it’s good for me, but I’m not sure they know what they’re talking about… But on the lighter side, at least tomorrow is my birthday! But even though the holiday, I am still going to work… After work though, I’ll be sure to go straight home and take advantage of the ping-pong table I’m sure I will be receiving as a gift. How exciting! Finally a gift that will keep me busy for years! Especially the days when its too hot, or too rainy to play traditional tennis.

I was going to purchase a surfboard as a gift for myself, but then I realized that I do work everyday, which hinders my ability to go to the beach. You may be wondering why I don’t just go on Saturday? Well to answer the question, I play tennis every Saturday morning, at 8:30 and don’t finish until anywhere from noon until two in the afternoon. By then the surf is no fun, and I am exhausted. And now you may be wondering, why not on Sunday? Well the answer to that one is short and sweet. Sunday is rest day.
I’m running out of comments on work, so I guess I’ll go do some work now. Perhaps sharpen pencils in hopes to pass the time quicker than just sitting at my desk staring at my desktop background of a man surfing.
Thanks for reading, and I promise it will get exciting along the way!
